About Us

Seven years ago, I met Henry in the wild jungle known as the hospitality industry. Right away, Henry and I clicked. Not just because we both had name tags and matching blisters from working doubles, but because we came from grounded upbringings and shared a dream: to build something meaningful. Something of our own.

Now, let’s be clear: owning a photo booth company was never in the dream journal. There were no signs from the universe. No mysterious Polaroid floating down from the sky. 
 

We were working a wedding at a hotel, Henry with 20+ years in hospitality and me with 15 years of shifting between my hotel and my entertainment job, when the idea just hit us.

There we were, watching guests crowd around a photo booth with sad props, and with photos that looked like surveillance footage from a haunted house. Henry leaned over and said, “We could do this… but, like, actually good.” And just like that, boom! Idea explosion, and we both yelled “YES!” louder than the drunk uncle on the dance floor.

Fast forward: we built OMG Studio, our sleek, sassy, brand for corporate events and activations, serving photo booth magic with flair and professionalism. And now, we’re proud parents of a shiny new baby: Photura. She’s elegant, wedding-ready, and was very fittingly born at a wedding.

Photura is our love letter to the industry we came from, with better lighting and way less soup-serving. She represents our journey, our roots, and yes—our very serious belief that every wedding deserves a glam moment and a fun moment!

So no, a photo booth company wasn’t always on the radar. But somehow, it became the most “us” thing we’ve ever done. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
